An Air Quality Data Map made with Codecraft and MIT App Inventor
Project Kappa is our community ambassador in Malaysia, they are passionate about bringing awareness to climate issues while developing children’s digital skills. They have recently rolled out an air quality sensor project, which has teams of kids from around the country working together to make an data collection sensor, app and a ‘heatmap’ of air quality around Malaysia. The heatmap can be seen above, and to find more about making the App, checkout their project guide which has been uploaded onto make2learn.
As part of the project, the kids have been producing tutoring videos which other kids can also follow. We think this is such an engaging way to learn – by teaching & passing on knowledge to others. Check out their videos here.
